Advantages of chocolate

Do you like the chocolate? A new study of chocolate, conducted in adolescents, has shown to have numerous health benefits (antioxidant).For example: is not fattening, lowers bad cholesterol, strengthens the heart, protects skin from the sun, it makes you happy, improves vision and makes you more intelligent.

Santa Claus 


The legend of the old plump is based in San Nicolas de Bari, who was born in Turkey in the year 280, helped by black slaves instead of elves. It was said that helping the most disadvantaged.
But it was in 1624 when it was renamed Santa Claus, when Dutch immigrants arrived in New York. Among its myths, had to Sinterklaas was a saint who gave gifts to children.
The legend grew in the collective imagination, but the character we know today already emerged in the twentieth century when Coca-Cola commissioned the painter Habdon Sundblom to remodel the figure to make it more human and endearing, and also changing red color of its clothes.

Do you think that all people in the world eat the same in New Year's Eve?
If you think so, you're wrong.
In Spain people eat 12 grapes at midnight on New Year's Eve, one with each chime.
In china people eat noodles and lettuce. Noodles are symbol for long life, because of its length, and cut or break into small pieces attracts bad luck. Lettuce leaves are used to wrap other luckily foods.
A typical Italian meal on New Years Eve is the "Cotechino with Lenticchie" which means pork with lentils. It is believed that lentils  give good luck coins.
In Argentina, people eat cold salads, sweet and sour pork and fruit.Although it remains the custom of eating nougat and grapes in most countries colonized by the Spaniards.
In France there is no typical food but the champagne is essential.
Japanese people eat osechi.The osechi can take fish roe, sea food and other foods.It has various meanings, as arga life, abundant descendants or good luck.
These are only a few countries but all countries have different customs.
